Galleria Pittui was founded as a space dedicated to the rediscovery and promotion of visionary, metaphysical, and surrealist painting—an art capable of transcending time without losing its power.
The gallery preserves and presents works that do not seek immediate approval, but instead invite slow observation, silence, and reflection. Each painting is conceived as a mental space: interior architectures, suspended figures, landscapes of the unconscious.

Discover Giovanni Pittui
The artist was born on 10 July 1926 in Cagliari to Sardinian parents. He started drawing when he was able to hold a pencil and has never stopped cultivating his passion for art since then. His works are distinguished by a metaphysical and surrealist style, unique in its kind, and tell the story of a visionary artist who left an indelible mark on the Italian art scene.
